Adouloh, 42, of Allentown, was convicted of Homicide and Aggravated Assault; all felonies of the first degree Friday, on May 31, 2024, after a trial before Judge Robert L. Steinberg. The sentencing was originally set to be in August but was continued until September.
The conviction and sentencing are the result of a shooting at West Catasauqua Park in Whitehall just before 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, as Daily Voice reported. Officers arrived to find the 35-year-old mom of four, Patricia White, unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds.
Her death was ruled a homicide by the county Coroner's Office.
Abouloh shot a second victim at the park, Frank Russo, according to the police. He was struck four times and required surgery, the DA's Office said Friday, May 31, after the conviction.
The 911 call was placed by Abouloh himself, who told police he was the shooter, according to prosecutors. He was arrested at his home on East Hamilton Street in Allentown and the murder weapon was recovered, authorities said.
A conviction for first-degree murder is an automatic life sentence without the possibility of parole, according to prosecutors. He was sentenced by Judge Steinberg to serve that sentence plus a consecutive 20 to 40 years in prison for the Attempted Murder of Frank Russo on Thursday, Sept. 26.
The case was prosecuted by Chief Deputy District Attorney Jeffrey D. Burd and Assistant District Attorney Sis-Obed Torres-Figueroa. The case was investigated by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Homicide Task Force detectives Moses Miller and James Bruchak, Whitehall Township Detective Matthew D. Reszek, and assisted by the Officer David M. Petzold Memorial Digital Forensics Laboratory of Lehigh County.
White, was a native of Beirut, Lebanon was a manager at Dunkin Donuts in Allentown, according to her obituary published by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, P.C.
She is survived by her mom, two daughters, two sons, a sister, and two brothers; a third brother, George R. Samaha, was predeceased according to her obituary.
Her funeral mass was held at at St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church, 920 N. Front Street, Allentown at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 22. She was Interred at Garden of Peace Cemetery in Whitehall.
A GoFundMe was launched to help her family, but it has since closed to donations.
